On March 14th, 2025, our global Tara Mandala Sangha will come together, live on Zoom, for a yana gathering to honor Chötrul Düchen—one of the four most sacred Buddhist holidays of the year. With the wise guidance of Tara Mandala Senior Teacher, Lopön Karla Jackson-Brewer, M.S., we’ll go beyond simply marking the date but truly experience its deep meaning—together, as Sangha.

Chötrul Düchen, the Day of Miracles, commemorates the fifteen days when Buddha Shakyamuni displayed astonishing miracles—subduing skeptics and deepening the devotion of those walking the path with him. On this day, it is said that our actions, whether kind or careless, ripple out with ten million times their usual force. It’s a moment to pause, reflect, and come together in the safety, joy, and comfort of the Sangha, knowing that our shared presence magnifies the goodness we cultivate.

No need to register, no preparation required—just show up as you are, whether you’ve been on this path for years or are taking your very first step.

Let’s gather, connect, and celebrate this luminous occasion in each other’s company. It’s going to be wonderful.

Our Special Day Dedications: Butterlamp Offerings
Sponsoring butterlamps for this auspicious occasion is a cherished practice that dates back to Buddha Shakyamuni. You’re warmly invited to send in dedications for yourself, loved ones, or for the well-being of all beings. These intentions will be read in the Trikaya Tara Temple at our Retreat Center in Colorado, though they will remain private and not read aloud during the virtual gathering, out of respect for the sacredness and confidentiality of your intentions. If you feel moved to offer butterlamps and raise your intention, you can do so by clicking here.

What is yana?
yana is our dedicated space for sustaining the heart of our Sangha, offering a refuge of wisdom, connection, and practice. If you are not a member of our Digital Dharma Hub yet, we strongly encourage you to join at no cost and discover how this platform can support you on your path on a daily basis.

Offering dana to the Teacher
The practice of offering dana, which means “generosity,” is the traditional offering the student makes to the teacher as a symbol of appreciation, gratitude, and reciprocity for receiving the precious teachings. To learn more about dana and suggested dana ranges, please click here.
