Feeding Not Fighting with DHARMA FRIENDS
With Megan Mook, Kevin Townley and Lopön Karla Jackson-Brewer MS
February 24, 2025
Dharma Friends is a monthly community gathering hosted by Megan Mook and Kevin Townley at Tibet House, NYC and Online. Each month features a specific Dharma theme with special guests including Buddhist teachers, artists, professors, comedians and musical guests.
Join Megan Mook, Kevin Townley, and Lopön Karla Jackson Brewer for an experiential practice coupled with an intimate discussion on loving all parts of ourselves. The evening will end with a deep sound bath.
During our February Dharma Friends, Lopön Karla Jackson Brewer will offer a guided Feeding Your Demons practice, a highly effective meditation inspired by the Chöd practice and developed by Lama Tsultrim Allione. Through Feeding Your Demons, we’ll learn how to transform our inner obstacles (anger, anxiety, loneliness, etc.,) into friends and allies on the path.
