Dzogchen: The Three Statements that Strike the Crucial Point
With Lama Tsultrim Allione
August 8 - 13, 2025
The Three Statements were the final teaching of Garab Dorje, after he passed away and when he appeared in the rainbow body to his close disciple Manjusrimitra.
We all have an awakened presence within us that can never be stained or tainted, but it can be hidden, like clouds covering the sun. Therefore, it needs to be pointed out to be directly experienced. This is the first statement. Once it is pointed out it is important to go beyond doubt, gaining certainty through personal experience, this is the second statement. This awareness is ultimately stabilized, and we gain confidence in this state of liberation. This is the third statement.
Drawing from over 50 years of training and practice in Tibetan Buddhism particularly in the Dzogchen tradition, Lama Tsultrim will guide us in the identification of this natural state of self-cognizing awareness through traditional teachings, stories, experiential exercises, and meditations in nature. Although this teaching is grounded deeply in the Tibetan tradition, because it is our true condition it is beyond any cultural constraint.
Identifying the non-dual state, ‘as it is’ and resting in it, going beyond effortful mindfulness to find the freedom of effortless open awareness.
