Arturo Peal

Arturo Peal has spent over 30 years inspiring and educating yoga teachers, body workers, and movement specialists across the globe through his classes in Anatomy, Kinesiology, and Therapeutic Touch. With a unique gift for translating complex scientific concepts into tangible teachings for his students, he raises awareness of how the body works.

Arturo holds a Master’s degree in Chinese medicine, and has practiced therapeutic massage for over 40 years. He is a 6th degree black belt in Aikido, and is the Chief Instructor at Aikido of New Orleans.

With his multi-traditional training and experience, Arturo has a gift of demystifying the function and integration of the body’s many systems. He is skilled at translating his scientific knowledge into a practical and intriguing class format that bridges East and West.

Dorje Lopön Chandra Easton

Dorje Lopön Chandra is a teacher, author, and translator of Tibetan Buddhism. She is the lead senior teacher at Tara Mandala Retreat Center, founded by Lama Tsultrim Allione. She serves on the Tara Mandala Board of Trustees, the Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Council, develops programs and curricula for Tara Mandala, as well as teaches nationally and internationally.

In 1996, Dorje Lopön Chandra studied Buddhism and Tibetan language at the Library of Tibetan Works & Archives in Dharamsala, India, founded by H.H. Dalai Lama. She later received her degree from UCSB’s religious studies department at which time she co-translated Sublime Dharma, A Compilation of Two Texts on the Great Perfection, published by Vimala Publishing, 2012.
