Jake Nagasawa

Jake Nagasawa is a scholar of Tibetan Buddhism. He has been studying classical Tibetan and Sanskrit formally for ten years. Jake’s research focuses on Tantric Buddhism in ancient and medieval Tibet. He is particularly interested in the tantras and the oral tradition (bka’ ma) of the Nyingma School. Jake also is a translator for the 84000| Translating the Words of the Buddha project and currently serves as the co-chair of the American Academy of Religion Western Region. His research has been supported by the Khyentse Foundation and the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology at the University of Cambridge.
