Cutting Through Privilege – Upcoming Offerings With Lopön Karla Jackson-Brewer

“Chöd is about practicing fearlessly and realizing the unity of samsara and nirvana.” ~ Lopön Karla Jackson-Brewer

The upcoming offerings with Lopön Karla Jackson-Brewer will be a special time for us to engage in personal and social transformation. Please join us for these events:

INVOKING THE GREAT MOTHER:

Reject White Privilege, Confront Anti-Blackness, Manifest Equity – Virtual Dharma Talk • January 17

How do we sustain the momentum toward elevation, higher consciousness, and a more equitable world? How do we have the courage to confront within ourselves the hidden pockets of privilege, our woundedness and confidently step out against the rise of anti-Blackness around the world? How do we successfully envision a world that has at its core the value of fairness and equity among all people? Dharma provides a path, and we can turn to the Great Mother for guidance, courage and wisdom which propels us to articulate her fierce compassionate action in ourselves, families, and communities. We can no longer live in denial of the injustice that is present everywhere. Let’s spend some time reaching out to her and answering her call for equity and justice.

This talk will be offered via the Zoom platform. It will take place on Monday, January 17, 2022 from 3:30-5:00pm MT … Learn more »
