Enter the world of the Three Yanas, the complete and immersive teachings of Sutrayana, Mahayana and Vajrayana.
Tara Mandala welcomes all to The Three Yanas, our most extensive retreat, from June 17 – July 14. Upon completing this life-changing journey, one will have cultivated the ground for all Buddhist practice to emerge from, with a deeply illuminated wisdom that can enhance all motivations and activities in daily life.
We are honored to have Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo teaching the Mahayana retreat, with Magyu Lopön (head teacher) Charlotte Rotterdam and Pieter Oosthuizen also teaching throughout the Yanas.
Summer is a magnificent time to be on Tara Mandala land. This program involves three in-depth week-long retreats focusing on each Yana, and a few days in between for personal reflection and/or relaxation. There will also be noble silence during the retreats, allowing for a deeper integration of the teachings and absorption of the environment. After each retreat, there is an optional oral exam.
Below, find more detailed information about each Yana retreat and how to register for them individually, or truly embark on the complete Three Yanas for a wonderful 360-degree view of Buddhism.
We hope you can join us for this in-depth journey.
