I wanted to write to you today, to let you know about a special event happening at Tara Mandala March 17-24. It will be the first ever annual Spring Equinox 21 Taras Drubchö, an Accomplishment Ceremony, practicing with each of the 21 Taras. Drupön Lama Karma with lead the Drubchö as Vajra Master. He is a very special yogi who did 16 years of solitary retreat in Bhutan (click here to read about Lama Karma).
During this Drubchö we will also consecrate 53 Prosperity Vases (Yang Bum) that we are preparing now, these vases are kept in the home and magnetize all good things into our lives and communities, and we will also be consecrating Tara protection amulets to wear [You can read more about this retreat below this letter.]

Because at Tara Mandala we have unique consecrated statues of the 21 Taras, which many lamas have said are the most exquisite Tara statues in the whole world, we have been activating individual Taras over the years to address different world events. We have activated Taras to deal with Ebola, Syria, and climate change. Once consecrated, statues have real power and in Tibet statues were known to speak or cry.
During the week of Drubchö we will get to know all 21, by focusing on three Taras a day. It will be amazing to attend the first ever 21 Tara Drubchö, and share in the magic of sending the blessings of the 21 Taras into the world. I believe in these challenging times doing this kind of intensive practice to benefit all beings is very important.
The 21 Tara Drubchö will be part of the Magyu: Mother Lineage, and an annual chance to meet up with other Magyu practitioners. If you are not in Magyu, it is still an important and relevant practice to learn and beginners are welcome. I am personally very excited to be adding this to what we offer at Tara Mandala to help the world situation. I really encourage you to attend.
Look forward to greeting you at the Tara Mandala within Tara Mandala!
Warm greetings and Tibetan new year blessings,
Lama Tsultrim Allione
