Dear Tara Mandala Community,
Holiday Greetings to you all! We are happy to announce the opening of our 2018 programs. If you’re wondering what to give friends, family, and even yourself for the holidays, why not give the gift of Dharma?
We have many wonderful events scheduled for 2018, from a weekend retreat to celebrate Lama Tsultrim’s new book, Wisdom Rising: Journey into the Mandala of the Empowered Feminine, to an Intimate Dialogue with Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo and Lama Tsultrim. We are also blessed to host Drubpön Lama Karma and his wife, Khandro Tsering Drolkar, from Bhutan, who will teach many retreats throughout the year, including two on the Rinchen Trengwa (Garland of Jewels), a collection of Machig Labdrön’s oral teachings. We hope you will join us for the over 30 retreats at Tara Mandala in 2018!
Lama Tsultrim’s third book, Wisdom Rising: Journey into the Mandala of the Empowered Feminine, will launch in May 2018 (Simon & Schuster). Here is an excerpt:
“We will see that the female body, manifesting as the dakini, is a potential vehicle for enlightenment. The Mandala of the Five Dakinis is a doorway with deep, profound roots that are timeless and inclusive. It is a practice that can help you meet the challenges of everyday life—when you feel scattered and pulled in many directions at once, when you need centering, when you have a decision to make, when you feel hopeless or stuck—by entering the mandala and meeting the dakinis within, you will access deep clarity and power.”
