With Dorje Lopön Charlotte Rotterdam MDiv, Megan Mook and Kevin Townley

Dharma Friends is a monthly community gathering hosted by Megan Mook and Kevin Townley at Tibet House, NYC and Online. Each month features a specific Dharma theme with special guests including Buddhist teachers, artists, professors, comedians and musical guests.

This April, Dharma Friends is honored to host Dorje Lopön Charlotte Rotterdam, one of the most senior teachers at Tara Mandala. In this auspicious gathering, Dorje Lopön Charlotte, Megan Mook, and Kevin Townley will discuss feminine wisdom (prajna) and the urgent need to balance male and female energies within ourselves and our world. Expect a thought provoking discussion on embodied feminine energy (dakinis), environmental and social responsibility, and the rise of female teachers across the world, followed by an exhilarating musical performance by Shonali Bowmik. This extraordinary evening will culminate in a profound meditation on the Dakini Mandala led by Dorje Lopön Charlotte.
