New Year’s Ritual: Letting Go and Setting Intentions

With Lama Tsultrim Allione

January 1, 2025

What does the first day of the new year mean to you? Many of us rush right into new resolutions or worries about what lies ahead as soon as January arrives. But perhaps, instead of getting caught up in promises or expectations, we might simply come together—to rest as a sangha, sit in the presence of our teacher, and trust in the guidance that is already here, in this very moment.

Join us January 1 for a New Year’s Ritual with Lama Tsultrim Allione, hosted live by the Tara Mandala Network. Together, we will pause. Instead of pushing forward, we will take a moment to release what is no longer serving us and set our intentions for the New Year from a place of clarity.

At this special New Year’s Day online event, you are invited to rest in Lama Tsultrim’s presence and the wisdom she holds for us all. Lama’s guidance is never distant—it is here and alive. How precious to be met fully in the moments when we may feel tender or uncertain.

This gathering also marks the first day of Tara Mandala Network taking on the name yana, reflecting what we’ve built together—our sangha’s heart space. The Sanskrit word yana speaks to the idea of a vehicle, carrying us toward awakening. With this shift, we move forward with the intention of cultivating a gathering place rich with connection, trust, and meaning. Here, we show up as we are.

Who Is Invited?
The New Year’s Ritual with Lama Tsultrim is open to all, at no cost. Your presence is all that’s needed.

How to Join?
This is a special offering from Lama Tsultrim through yana (formerly Tara Mandala Network). If you are not yet part of the network, please know that yana is a space where we come together in genuine connection and shared practice. If this sense of community speaks to you, we warmly invite you to join us at community.taramandala.org.

What to Have Ready?
Bring a candle, a pen, and a piece of paper, and prepare to enter the year ahead with openness, supported by your practice, your sangha, and Lama Tsultrim’s blessing.

We look forward to being with you.
