An Uncontrived Mind

Much of our experience is predetermined by well-established beliefs and habitual patterns. In this course Traleg Khandro will explore and explain traditional Tibetan Buddhist meditative and yogic techniques designed to help reveal the uncontrived mind. Vipassana (insight) meditation assists us in revealing the true nature of existence; Mahamudra meditation (meditation in one’s natural state) helps us recognise the workability of even the most uncomfortable or unpleasant mental states.
We will also practice Tibetan Yoga, which is a unique system combining physicality, breath work, visualisation, and relaxation techniques. These techniques are designed to help stabilize physical energy and enhance clarity of mind. This can create a more uplifted inner environment that is conducive to meditational practices. All exercises are very gentle.
