Machig Empowerment:
Lama Tsultrim will give this rare empowerment from the Rinchen Trengwa, Machig’s most direct historical lineage, written by the 3rd Karmapa, Rangjung Dorje. This is especially auspicious because Lama Tsultrim herself was recognized as an emanation of Machig Labdrön in Tibet at Machig’s main monastery, Zangri Khangmar, by the resident Lama as well by Lama Tsering Wangdu Rinpoche, the main holder of Machig’s lineage from Tingri Langkhor who has established a monastery dedicated to Machig Labdrön, Phadampa Sangye and Chöd in Nepal.
After the Empowerment, Lama Tsultrim will teach on Machig Labdrön’s male and female lineages and Machig’s profound “Opening the Gate to Space” practice.
Opening the Gate to Space:
This Nature of Mind P’howa practice was given by Machig to her oldest son, Gyalwa Dondrub. It is the heart and life force of the mother lineage of the Dakinis. It was a core practice for Machig and offers profound opening to the limitless vastness of the nature of mind, mixing space and awareness.
