Upcoming Retreats
This retreat offers a base of study and practice that will create a firm foundation for Vajrayana and Dzogchen practices. Following the historical development of Buddhism, this retreat will cover the three important tenets of Buddhist training: discipline, meditative concentration and wisdom. Each session will follow the tradition of Noble Silence taught by the Buddha. Each day will include meditation, talks, study and a work period. The Three Yana retreat is divided into three sessions. Participants who cannot attend the entire retreat may attend individual sessions. August 25 – 29
News Flash: September 4 – 11 In this retreat we will deepen our Prajna Paramita practice and be introduced to Jamgon Kongtrul's text Transmitting the Meaning of the Mother, a practice on looking at the sky-like nature of mind, the Great Mother. We will also practice Machig Labdron's method for cutting through discursive thoughts with sound. |
