Dentog Chigma Chöd Retreat Aug 30 – Sep 3 w/ Venerable Drüpon Lama Karma

Dentog Chigma Chöd Retreat with Venerable Drüpon Lama Karma

Journey into Rinchen Trengwa – The Third Karmapa, Rangjung Dorje’s compilation of Machig Labdron’s Chöd practices, with this Chöd retreat – Dentog Chigma.

With the auspicious occurrences of the Chöd Conference at Tara Mandala this year, and the newly welcomed residence of Drüpon Lama Karma, we are honored to present the Dentog Chigma Chöd Retreat from August 30 – September 3. This is the main sadhana practice within the Rinchen Trengwa (‘The Mala of Jewels’), the collection of practices in Machig’s Kama (oral) lineage compiled by Karmapa Rangjung Dorje and Karma Chakme.

The Mala of Jewels is the most complete collection of Chöd practices we have, directly from the tradition of Machig herself. Drüpon Lama Karma received these teachings from his root teacher Lama Naljorpa, the great yogi of mahamudra and Dzogchen. We were lucky enough to have Lama Karma teach the Tibetan Healing Chöd (following the Chöd Conference) in July, and now he shall offer this precious gift that is the shining light of Machig’s profound legacy and Chöd.

Join us and Drüpon Lama Karma for the Dentog Chigma Chöd Retreat. For more information about the retreat and Lama Karma, please see below.
